Default Can you tell me what these little guys are?.........(pic)

Although it was a freezing 27 degrees outside this morning, this is what was on my back fence this morning *note: the frosty white stuff under their feet*. Sorry for the grainy picture as I had to zoom in ALOT and take picture through the slider.
Can you tell me what these little guys are?
There is sometimes 8-10 surrounding the feeder in the mornings out their and no matter the weather these two are ALWAYS there every morning. I Think they live in the tree to the right of them in the picture..
Thanks for any advice.

Correction: english sparrow and house finch are not the same bird. Mokai may have confused english sparrow's other common name (house sparrow) with the house finch. I call them all LBB's (little brown birds) and have never been wrong.

another question
Is there something other than just regular old bird seed I should feed these through the winter months (some with dried little fruits, or somethnig), or are they just fine with the regular old bird seed. Just wondering..
I love these little things, they are the first of birds I can get to come out my back slider and I just love them.. Although I saw that the neighbor cat had one of my friends for a snack the other day. I think me and the cat are gonna have to have a little talk..
thank you everyone

My parents feed just the black sunflower seeds now but the finches seem to like most anything. Mom and Dad get a pretty good flock of them every once in a while.
