I think we should talk women fisherman. We need to get some of these guys out there out with thier significant others ( and I don't mean their fishing buddies.) I think these men need to show their women just what it is about fishing in the Northwest that keeps them coming for more. You and I both know that when we go fishing, a fish is just Icing on the cake. You get to expierience the outdoors. listening to the birds chirping in the morning. Here in the metro area, out on the Columbia you still get the Osprey and the Bald Eagles soaring overhead, they turn ever so slightly, just enough for you to see the largest wing span you have ever seen in your entire life. Or the sunrise over the mountains and the rays beaming on to the water, which is as smooth as glass, and you think to yourself there really is a God. No one else could give you a more beautiful gift. the gift of life and this beautiful view of the mountains and the sun and the valley and the ocean on a wonderful morning. Sitting out on the boat enjoying the sunrise and the company of the other fisherman in the area, or the ones in your boat. That's why I go fishing and I am a woman.
