Default Nestucca Report

Made the martathon float from 1st bridge to Cloverdale. My arms are sore. Unfortunately, rowing is the primary culprit.

Had two takedowns, the first being below farmer's creek which was an unclipped hen about 7 lbs. Got it on a metallic red tadpolly. The 2nd was on a brass hot shot in size 30. That was below three rivers.

I did see several steelhead slide around us in one hole that I'm certain due to there position were chased by our plugs. We had on a chrome hot shot and the red metallic tadpolly at the time. Wish I'd had someone in the boat that fished much so we could have tossed some jigs. Oh, well. Beautiful day.

Thanks for the report Rich. It appears that the steelheading is picking up somewhat in a lot of places lately. After the rivers come up with some predicted rain we should be on track for some decent fishing.
