Buck Down !!
This has been a great season!!. Had some good luck rattling early on but couldnt connect. After 5 days of hunting, seeing a ton of deer, and getting oh so close several times it finally happened for me today. My first archery success. He is a nice 4x5 and I am very happy to have him. Still hunting, not rattling got the job done today.
I had the pleasure of hunting with Santiam and his brother Ken. I learned a lot from these guys and made new friendships in the process. Snoopy took care of the heavy work, what an awesome horse!
Thanks guys!!
Ken & I with the brute

Chad,
Good job on that buck - you sure put in your time for it. Very nice deer.

Re: Buck Down !!
Way to go Chad! I knew you would connect sooner or later. Thats an awesome buck! I know a good taxidermist and I bet you may be able to trade for a turkey hunt too - materials at least.
Congrats!
