Re: Blankfish.net?
We knew this would happen sooner or later. We ran out of disk space, due to my letting people have unlimited disk space for their galleries.
I would REALLY appreciate that if you have things on your gallery or in your attachment folder that was for class ads, or something not related to ifish, that you clean up. Private messages, too. Anything you don't need, delete it.
We will have to purchase another server, or at least another hard disk, regardless, but for now, I'd appreciate a little clean up. I am surprised to see that some folks have 4000 messages stored in their pms. Even 300 adds up, if you consider 11,000 members at 300 pms each!
So, get rid of those sent pms! Please!
Thanks much,
Jen

Re: Blankfish.net?
Wow!!! I feel really good about trying to keep my stored PM's under 20
Also for those of you that send alot of PM's, remember to clean out your sent folder. They also get stored, and add to your count.

Re: Blankfish.net?
Go to your gallery. When you are viewing an image in large size, there are a bunch of administrative tools below the image including the option to delete. Papermaker, I don't think you need to worry about it. You only have 4 pictures. There are some galleries which have hundreds of pictures and are using 10s of 1000s of storage space.

Re: Blankfish.net?
Yeah... and then it crashed altogether!
Please don't delete photos that are in threads, though. We like to see old photos in threads, and that's what the gallery is for.
Just things you aren't using or that aren't in a thread. Say, an old pic from a classified, etc. Those we don't need any more.
But, I am going to have to get a new hard disk, anyhow, so don't be too worried about it. We do appreciate your help, though!
Thank you!
It's all part of being a community. We all pitch in. I like that.
