Default Baretta 9000?

Well, this was the gun I've been looking at for a fun little plinker/carrying concealed. Now it's on sale for 349 at Fishermen's. Any input on this gun from people that have one, and any idea what I might be able to pick one up used for? Thanks, TOC. Oh yeah, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I have handled this gun and feel the grip index is the same or worse than the mini-Glocks. With a mag finger rest, this gun may be OK, but for the money, it's hard to beat. Have a careful look at a Glock 26 at FM or go to Sportsman's and check out the Kahrs, micro 1911's, and XD compacts. Recoil will be stout in any of these diminutive canons.

Handled the Beretta at the gun show. It's got an awfully short grip - second the mag finger rest. Also held a lot of Kahr CWs and found them a lot more friendly to hold, but a lot of that will depend on your hands (mine are small but thick).

And, yes, recoil is going to be a bugger with anything this size.

I have fired the Berreta 9000S. I really didn't care for it. I have average to large size hands and the slide hit me while the action was cycling. This was even with the mag grip extender.

I owned one briefly and had a similar experience...although the slide didn't hit me, the gun was uncomfortable to handle even with the grip extender on the mag. I also felt like the gun was unbalanced. The recoil is what you'd expect it to be.
