Had the great fortune of getting permission to hunt some fields off the Lower Columbia today. After doing a bit of scouting for the best spot to set up I felt that we should have a decent day with the amount of waterfowl using the area.
Well the weather was not what I had hoped for and the water had dropped a ton! But a couple of good friends and I were able to knock down a nice mix of ducks and had a couple of jumbo's get a little to close to the spread!

. We wanted to only shoot colors but it was turning out to be a bit to slow for that strategy, so we had to blast some brown

. Oh well, we can't all have nothing but days of colors
The bag included GW teal, a drake spoonie, a greenhead (only saw 4 all day), some gadwall, a pintail and some widgeon. Can't complain had lots of action and some great time was spent with the boys!
