I have only fished the Wilson and the Nestucca this year. I have one day a week to fish (friday) due to my school and work schedule. On fridays my wife works, so all the fishing I do is from the bank with the three yr. old by my side, and the one yr. old in the back pack. Needless to say my 00' card was not punched out. I have not fished the Nehalem up here, I have seen a few fishermen though.

Any where I can safely get to the bank with the kids. I go to mile marker 7 alot, I think it is the blue hole?? There is a big bar for the kid to play on, and besides the hole there is some holding water in the rocks below the hole. I've done better in those rocks than the actual hole.
