Default FERC Klamath Dam Meeting 11/30 Newport

This one would be a good one to go to. KMZ salmon will be a hot topic again. The one in Eureka,Ca drew 700. PFMC and NMFS have given a recommendation of removing all 4 dams on the Klamath.

I attended the meeting as well as 60 or so members of the public. Here is the wrap up of the Meeting from the local paper. One thing that this article does not mention is that the legth of the permit is 50 years. It was by pure luck or planet alignment that the issues on the Klamath and the relicensing of the Dams came up at the same time.
