I met Jennie and Bill this morning on the lower Wilson. Jen has wanted to catch a Steelhead with a jig on her new ifish rod really bad. Well, I got her all set up and tied on one of my jigs to get her going. Only the fish got their instructions mixed up. Three beautiful native Steelhead decided they wanted to tug on the jigs I had on my line. Sorry Jen, I tried to get you into fish. It sure was fun fishing with you and Bill. Maybe next time we'll try the Kilchis river. Keep the faith Jen. You will get one on a jig. It's just a matter of time.

Well, I am glad someone did well on the Wilson today. I put in at Donaldson's and was blew all the way down to Sollie. It was something else trying to plug plugs by yourself in gusty wind!!! Very few boats on the river today, and I heard of a couple caught. RW
