Testing, Testing, Sportsman Show Cam
It will be at this address.
Right now, I believe it is a bird cam.
I haven't figured everything out, yet, but I'm working on it. I have other things to do for a while, so I'm going to leave it be, and get it going better when I get to the show.
PS. I might password it, so the entire world doesn't see it. If so, I'll post the PW here.

Re: Testing, Testing, Sportsman Show Cam
Cool! The Bird-Feeder Cam worked for me, but very resource intensive. (long time to load on a high speed connection).

Works for me. Looks like off your back steps. It does load slow even with cable here at the office.

I think it is slow so you have time enough to run home and see yourself!

Re: Testing, Testing, Sportsman Show Cam
The reason is because I'm on a dial up. I will be on a dial up there, too. I wish Skrimmy would come configure my ports tomorrow. HINT HINT Skrimmy!!!
Anyone else know how, you are welcome! Otherwise, it is what it is. Just not worth it to spend much more time on it.
I have it turned off, now, till 9 till 6 during the show.

Re: Testing, Testing, Sportsman Show Cam
Jennie,
I have my browser set to ask whether to allow third party cookies. I got two third party cookies when going to this site, an id cookie and a count cookie. I just blocked them and it seemed to work fine.
Earlier today, I was surprised to get a third party cookie from homestead.com tracking cookie from ifish. That's the first time I've seen a third party cookie here. What does that cookie do?

Re: Testing, Testing, Sportsman Show Cam
Marie, from Tillamook Bait keeps her pictures on Homestead, and Homestead puts a cookie on you every time you view her pictures. Did you view the pics of Kimmels?
I would imagine that that is what it is.
You will get cookies from other sites, like that, geocities, etc, when people use those sites to store pictures, shown here on ifish.

Yes, I think I did. Hard to tell if they are malicious or not by their description. I generally choose to block all third party cookies.

Re: Testing, Testing, Sportsman Show Cam
If you have a firewall, you have to configure it to allow it. It's a pain. Next year it will be better, k?
I told Adventure that I was going to send them a bill.
Nice people. I did this for them last year, too!
I am only on a dial up. It is expensive at the show to even get a phone line. If I wanted high speed, so it would be better, it would have been almost 500.00. Next year, if you really want that, I'll need some help in paying for it! It would be cool though!

Re: Testing, Testing, Sportsman Show Cam
Jen - a cellular connection mat be cheaper than "renting" a port from the Expo center - just a thought.

Re: Testing, Testing, Sportsman Show Cam
I'll look into that. I don't know if it would work with the cam, though.
