Default Anyone know how the sandy is doing?

Just curious if anyone has fished the Sandy recently? If so, how did you do and how is the water looking? Appriciate any feedback, R.C.

Caught a real nice 10 lb. nate hen today on orange corky and white yarn. Sorry, no pics. River is high, but "looks" great.

FishingNewbie, does it strike you as strange that a person who fishes 5 times a week in the same spot would continue to do so if there haven't been any fish taken since October.

The Sandy is running a little high which means the fish are pushing in, the water color is perfect so the fishing should be excellent. I have a personel report of a couple freinds doing really well higher in the system this weekend when the water was real high. If there high in the system than that means they are throughout the entire system!!!! Get out and fish!!!

There may be fish in the system but the bite is few and far between...

Thanks for all the replies. I think I will just head for my old holes on the S. Coast this weekend. It's a bit of a haul but I rarely get skunked! Either the N. fork Coquille or the Millicoma. I get to visit my old buds that way too

I saw four fish come out of there sunday and heard of others caught. They had them coming up the trail from the pipeline hole. I would say the bite was on.
