I recently had the pleasure of fishing with Rick King the other day in his boat for gators. He told me a little about the fundraiser and what a tremendous and worthwhile event it is. This guy does great work, and really reaches out to some kids who haven't been getting what they need.

He also told me about the sweet raffle prizes they're giving away so buy lots of tickets because your money defitely goes to a good cause.

rknH20-

It's a guided salmon tournament in which all the proceeds go to help send these less fortunate kids(often abused or neglected) to camp for a week.

Rick can explain it to you much better than I. Send him an email or PM, he's got plenty of details to share.

It is definately one of the highlights of my spring fishing trips.

Here's just a few of the guides that were there last year:

David Johnson
Chris V.(not even going to try  )
Kent Anderson
Dan Christopher
Ian Premo
Bob Rees
Chris Nordling(that's me  )

Those are just a few of the fellas I can think of off the top of my head, I know I'm forgetting some others.

After the day of fishing there's a great BBQ, silent auction, etc....It's really a great cause, and a fun day of fishing.

See everyone on Saturday from 4pm to 8pm.

Default Kings for Kids\' Booth

Our tourney is growing and this year we got a booth at the Sportsmen's Show!! We are raffling a Curado 200/ STR Loomis combo and an Okuma Salmon rod/reel combo. I've got plenty of Loomis patches and stickers for all who donate to the raffle. Also, the first place at the tourney gets a 6 DAY/5 NIGHT trip on the Nushigak with Fins, Feathers, and Furs. Dave Johnson will be at the booth on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Other ifish guides will also be at the booth throughout the week, Chris Nordling (FWF1) on Sat from 4-8PM. Come by and say hi, we are at the main entrance in Hall E right before you walk in the show(booth 060). This all couldn't be done without the help of ifish-Thanks Jennie. We are trying to raise 10,000 for abused children this year. See you there!!!
