Default Troubleshooting login-- Please help if you can!

Today, a few users have complained that they have to login, whether or not they check the "remember me" tick box on the front.

Remember that you should always tick that, as it will time you out after 15 minutes, if you don't.

So... Who online is having troubles staying logged in? When you come back after using ifish, and either your browser is open or not, are you STILL logged in?

It should never log you out.

I could stay online at ifish for days if I wanted to and have to very rarely login.

I hope it's the same for you! I can't imagine having to login every time!

One thing that bugs me, is that this site doesn't remember my login, and when I DO logout on purpose, I have to retype everything. I wish I didn't have to. The old one would fill it in for me, auto.

Please let me know your complaints about login.

Jen

Stupid question time.

Soo...I can log on from multiple computers (home, work, etc), and just stay logged on to all of them?

Strugeonator I use to be logged in on 4 different computers and it would stay logged on no matter how long I was gone from that computer. A hour or a week it did not matter.

Jen I click the Remember me box every time and I get timed out or when I go away I am no longer logged on.

While sitting here just now I opened another window and walah I had to sign in on that window also.

I know you are working on these things and I am only informing you of my experiences, NOT complaining.

Jen I deleted my temporary cookies and it now seems like I stay logged on.

It seems to remember me just fine. I don't think it has kicked me out nor made me sign in again. Don

This probably explains my post about quick replies and search, but it doesn't make me relogin for a regular post, odd.
