Lab Breeders - Contacts Needed

Having settled on Lab as my waterfowl/bird dog of choice now comes the tough task of finding breeders I should visit/consider.

Looking for quality dog and willing to spend up to $1,200 - $1,500.00. Kennel can be any where in US or Canada although would be nice if somewhat local. Puppies no pref on sex, Yellow would be my first choice with Black next. Would also seriously consider older dog as well.

Field Champions sire and dam pedigrees would be nice but not required. Basically looking for well socialized, driven, birrdy dog - a quality dog.

PM Hawian Time he breeds what you are looking for. At the very least you will get an honest no BS opinion. It's a great time to be in the puppy market. For the kind of money your budgeting you will be getting the upper end of dogs for sure. At least a FC/AFC to MH/QAA type of breeding.

Another source would be Parkdale Kennel in Rainier, OR. Just ask for Butch and tell him what you want and if he can't help you he will point you to someone who can.

I second Coyote Creek! I have one, my brother has one of theirs, two different friends have one from there apiece. Jim and Maxine are great people and they have great dogs.

Well, to add to your ever growing list, I'd recommend at least looking at Oregon Retrievers in Medford. You will find excellent dogs there as well as superior after-the-sale support. Sue is awesome and is willing to talk to you even several years after you bought a dog from her.

I will second oregon retriever and the commits about Sue thats where i got mine after a long search.
