Me? You "Reply"ing to Me?! (software)

In this brave new Ifish world, is there a way to link or discern in a 'reply' to what post somebody is replying to?

The old software had some header on each post didn't it, saying who was replying to who?

It seems now, you have to quote the post you're responding to?

At the top of the forum is a link called "display modes" ... threaded will let you see the response relationships. Also, if you use the "quill" quick reply or "quote" reply modes, it will show in the other modes who's responding to whom. But I know what you're suggesting - it does take a little bit to get used to a new way of following a discussion.
