went out yesterday afternoon to hunt some ducks before i head back to Oregon for more steelheading, and was pleasantly surprised to find some good numbers of mallards, pintails and widgeon. I wasn't too picky yesterday mainly because of hot damn hot it was in the blind. I wanted to get out of there and away from the skeeters in a hurry
ended up with 2 mallards, a pintail and 4 widgeon.
Best of all i got my first band of the year.
