Starkey Unit

Just finished off regular rifle season, and got blanked. The USFS had the entire Spring Creek area ablaze with fires, so much so that we had to leave the area (son has asthma) and hunt on the extreme eastern side of the unit. Saw practically no deer, and ones we did see, all of those were does. Likely not to go back again to that unit.:frown:

I gave up on Starkey a few years ago. I don't know what happened to that unit It use to be good for deer and elk but has sucked as of late.
