How's the Salmon fishing so far? I haven't seen many posts on the subject and ws wondering. I saw Walter caught by the Oyster farm, but that's it. Any news? :smile:

Looks like nobody wants to be the bearer of bad news..at least it's bad in Grays Harbor area.

If you look at the harvest report on WFDF for Johns River Launch, Westport launch, and the 28th street bridge...last Saturday OCt 7th there was 467 anglers and they checked 10 kings and 2 cohos. Ouch.

In addition I know that the tribal nets AND non-tribal nets have caught virtually nothing. The few commercial fishermen I know are holding out hope that a rain will bring the fish. We'll see. Nothing yet in this area!
