Default Last Tuna Trip 2006?

Any body want to buddy boat for a final tuna trip of 2006 this Friday? Looks like there is good water out of Tillamook. Plan on going out early and spending the day on the big blue.

I'm planning on it for Friday but all of a sudden, Saturday just got better. Looks like the crew is stuck on Friday though. Not confirmed yet but I think fishinfool and trailer sailor are going too.

I plan on heading out from illwaco Saturday morning, unless there any big changes in the weather. I am not sure if we are going to do live bait or not. Last time we were out, we did pretty well just working swimbaits. But it would be nice to use the baitwell for its intended purpose for a change.

We're here fishing for nooks. The weather was great today but large swells rolled in this pm. Many series were over 10'. The bar was closed at 5 with breaks. I think it will lay down overnight but who knows. The forecast says it's supposed to be pretty good by Friday. Sure sunny and warm.

You could've went after tuna yesterday for sure. Today probably but it was a little iffy early with the big sets coming in. Makes you wonder where they came from. Sure wasn't blowing here, not over 10kts all day.

Wish I could join ya Saturday John, I've got to get a side job done though. I gotta find a way to pay for all this winter's boat jewelry.
