Default It's a Miracle--Please Pray for Tina...

This young lady had the courage to make the right choice and commit to carrying her child to term after having made the decision to abort.
Today, she would have started the 3 day process of aborting an 18 week old fetus--instead, she has chosen to share a life with our family
This is truly a miracle. I only found out about this Sunday--36 hours before her appointment--but by the grace of God, he allowed myself and the baby's Grandma to intervene thanks to his grace.
Please pray for the health and well being of Tina and her baby.
May God's will be done...
Thank you,
Charles.

Thanks all. Our first meeting went well. The next step is to get an attorney for her (we are working on it), and yes HB, try and offer some counseling. She had actually made the commitment to carry the child for us before we ever met.
This has been a busy, stressful, but blessed week. Frankly, I am scared of the process and cost of adoption, but any other outcome would be out of the question.
I can't go into details, but she said that she would not have have given this baby to anyone but us--God clearly moved both of us to make the right decision.
Last Sunday I was a relatively carefree, happy crabber and father of three (youngest 11) psyching myself up for work Monday...this Sunday my wife and I are the parents(Lord willing) of a beautiful baby.
Wow

Praise God for the blessings we have received.
All is going well. A first meeting with the attorney, and all pertinent paperwork (whew!!! it's like writing your autobiography in triplicate!) is started on both sides. I want to believe this is going to happen, but I am going to stay pessimistic until I am holding what I pray will be our new baby.
Financially, the initial costs have been very stressful (we didn't expect this, especially right after Christmas!!), but we will work it out somehow. We are selling our Jeep (91 2.5 Liter Wrangler, very good shape. If you know anyone interested--we are motivared sellers!!) in hopes of helping out in the short term.
Kind of an odd request, but if any of you would be willing to pray that God would direct an interested buyer our way--I'd sure appreciate it!
18 weeks and counting!!!
Thanks and God Bless,
Charles and Annie

(This is Annie, Charles wife) I am so deeply moved to tears tonight. Charles (Wildhawg) had privately been posting these messages in the Angler's Chapel section, and I am here reading your blessings and good wishes and can't express my love for you all enough. Thank you dear Jesus for bringing these prayers to our hearts! My heart is so tense and scared of the whole adoption process. I'm so fearful of the "unknowns & what-ifs" at this point, I try to focus daily on the important fact that-- Halleliuah! There will be a child born! Truly this is key!! But everyday the mother in me gets more & more excited to begin "nesting" for a BABY! Please, keep us in your prayers for the next many months, my heart truly feels "fed" by your kind words & prayers.
Also, to ask for more seems like too much, but please pray for my boss, he is a wonderful man who had a stroke in his dental practice 2 weeks ago. I pray for his health & his loving family, I hope you will join me. (Also, please pray for my co-workers Maureen, Tina, JeriAnn, & Sibyll. We are all saddened, hurt, confused, & our careers are on hold.)
Again, thank you, I feel your kindness & I love it! God Bless, Annie (& Charles)

Mr. Spesert,
I would like to thank you for the kind offer of assistance. It means more to my wife and I than I could possibly write.
Though we are currently in the financial ditch, we are a 4-wheel drive with posi-trac family, and we own shovels!!!! I've been buried deeper!!!
Thank you all for the inspiring and heartfelt prayers. Please don't stop--we are only a little more than half way through the gestation period, and barely started in the legal process.
Thank you all again,
Charles and Annie.

WHEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sold the Jeep tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hated to see her go, but it's just a material thing, they're easy to replace  .
What a blessing, and what a relief.
Len's gift will be passed on, thank you again!
We are so elated after meeting with our attorney yesterday. She is a wonderful Christian woman who has made us feel very comfortable in this process.
Please don't stop praying for us.
Thank you and God Bless you all,
Charles and Annie.
