Default wind powered decoys

Are they legal in Oregon? I know battery powered are not.

Wind powered is legal, last I checked.

I just picked up a WinDuck. We'll see how it works this season.

Yes, windpowered is legal. Just not battery powered or motorized decoys.

Scott,

Pick up one of the Air Lucky Mallard wind powered ducks.

I have 3 of them, they are a good product and work really well on ducks in Or, Wa, and anywhere else.

There is one you can pull with a string on calm days is there not?

I saw them last wintetr at the Salem Sportsman's but have yet to its return the shelves this year. Was I dreaming or did they become illegal over the summer?

If you're talking about ducks and geese, then yes. If you're talking about big game, then no.

The Air-Lucky sucks. Wings turn out of sync...one turns one doesn't.....works about as good as a dead duck on the water.

The "Wind Duck" is your best bet on a wind spinner. The wings are locked together and turn in syn and the ball bearings turn in very light wind. However, I don't care for the flat silloette body.

The Air-Lucky is a decent looking full body deke, but it needs worked over. Make it to a DA meeting and you can look at mine.....he has several siblings spinning around local ponds. Or PM w/ email addy for pics.

I would suggest a flutter wing pullstring spinner from Aero Outdoors. They are awesome. Just make a longer pole sharpened so you can put it in the mud, I use braided fishing line and the ducks suck right to it. Early in the year watch out... lol

Not sure if this violates the ifish link policy... If so sorry.
