Prayer for Husband and I

Those of you who know me and who talk to me on a semi regular basis know what has been going on. My husband lost his job last month and I still don't have a job either. Along with Last month he was in a car accident and then the week after I was in one also. i was hurt in that one though. Still going to physical therapy also. Its been a struggle for Torrey and I to keep looking up cause its been so hard. But with the family we have (meaning DAB and Ryan and Joyce and My Mom) we have been hanging in there. Torrey's family besides his grandfather hasn't really helped out much emotionally at all. Just please be praying that Everything will go as Christ as planned in our lives and that we will be patient with His calling and not question it either. thank you much and yall have a wonderful day.

always remember God only gives us what we can handle. God is watching us , keep on believing ,changes are just around the corner.There's going to be alot of miracles happening very soon(watch)...

Prayed for you tonight. The hard times will end, and since you seem to have had more than your share, I'm confident that really good times will come about eventually. Just wait for them, and offer you troubles up to God in the meantime.

If you or others out there are not too proud or spiritual to do janitorial work, ABM {American Building Maintenance} is ALWAYS hiring, they are over here in Vancouver off of 117th Anenue, in the yellow pages under janitorial...I have been doing janitorial work for 17 yrws now, never been out of work, making over 16hr, with benefits. BE CAREFULL ABOUT PRAYING FOR PATIENCE ? My wife prayed for patience once , she had one trial after another . She quit praying for patience and things turned around right away .

Sorry to hear the string of things happening. I'll be praying for ya as well. One thing I try to remember is that where God guides God Provides. I'll pray that he gives you both 100%healing and jobs that you will like. All for his Glory.

When I was out of work when Daniel was real little. I was told that when we asked God to help us find a job. He wants us to get out there and look for what we need no matter how hard the job is or the times of the day or night or days of the week. I remeber that a great friend of mine just told me to go throught the news paper at every job. First list on a piece of paper what I was good at and what I could offer an employer. Then I went through the jobs and applied to the ones that even only had one skill that I could offer. In a few weeks I got a telemarkting job. That does not mean you will get one but I got one that got me another one at a place where I had access to a news paper. I worked at these places only 3 months and I was looking trhough the News Paper and saw the openings for the place I work at now. Now I have been working at his place for 5 years. AMEN!!!! I love this job. God gave me this job knowing I would be able to bring him glory in the things I do.

Do not give up. Keep out there and keep trying. I am praying for you that God will give you something that will give you that edge to be able to get a job you really like. I know for me I did not really like working as a telemarketer and God knew that. He showed me a way out I was always looking and waiting. I was waiting while working. I have had jobs for a long time I did not really like for exapmle: Taco Bell, KFC, Nursing home cook assictant(like this one), drycleaning worker and telemarketer.

When you do get a job and if it is stress full aske God to give you strength and to help you show loving and kindness.

This is running to be very long.

I was told by a few friends of mine that when we struggle to find out what God wants us to do in our lives. We need to remeber that God is in control. If he does not want you to be doing a certien job he will show it in ways you might not think. For example: I wanted to go to Western Baptist college. I applied for grants and fedral aid. I got only about 5,000 and the first year was 16,000. Dad was not going to sighn for a loan for me. I was really upset that Dad did not do this for me. Then after a week or so I saw that God had another plan for me. It was not my plan for my life it was what he had planned for my life. So when a road block is put in your path by God take heed to what he is trying to tell you. Is he trying to tell you to find a diffrent line of work and to trust him and not yourself. Lean not on your own understanding but God's.
