Re: Umatilla Draw?
I was just wondering this myself...
I called them back on the 24th of last month, and she said the draw results would be be out on the 29th of September at the EARLIEST  I checked all around their website last night, and unless i'm missing something, I don't think they're posted yet. Seems a little late to me for those who drew for this weekend and still don't know about it...
Anyone out there have any info?

Re: Umatilla Draw?
I got some of my (Upland bird) applications BACK with a return to sender yellow sticker on them.
I thought, "Oh well, blew it for this year"
But on a hunch called the Refuge/s Hq. up in Washington.
They said the ODF&W used the WRONG address (an OLD Address) in the Oregon Synopsis.
And that they were moving their draw date back as a result and to resubmit it.
If I recall correctly that later draw was just LAST Wednesday.
On the McCormack Waterfowl draw, I'd used a form the USF&WS sent me that had a DIFFERENT address on it, and that never came back.
So I don't know what the "deal" is here.
You'd think the ODF&W could call the USF&WS BEFORE they finalized the Oregon Synopsis to make sure they were both on the same page?!!

Re: Umatilla Draw?
I called the Refuge office on Monday to ask about the results. They told me they were mailing the cards that day. Should arrive today for most of us.

Re: Umatilla Draw?
Got all my picks. If you guys want your draws back quicker give them a call and ask them to bump the whole application period forward a couple weeks. They told me that with enough calls...this would be a sure thing.

Re: Umatilla Draw?
Just went and checked the mail. Got my card today too. Only drew one day, and that just happens to be the day we're gonna be in Idaho Looks like Umatilla is a bust for me this year...

Re: Umatilla Draw?
Well...they ALL showed today.
The picks weren't as good as they've been in the past couple of years (how can you beat last year's #1? :shocked
But they're at least decent picks...and for a couple of days consecutively...
Also we got Opening Day Pheasant draws on a couple of the NWRs.

Re: Umatilla Draw?
Thanks for the heads up. Got all of our draws in the mail a few minutes ago, except each time I put my wife into the draw, her draws are awesome and mine are terrible.
I haven't gotten a number below 10 for years, and she gets two dates each (Umi/McNary), with two of them below 6.
