Need prayer for my Brother please.

I come to you with a heavy heart, I found out on Christmas day that my Brother has lower intestinal
cancer and starts chemo on monday. My brother and I have never been close, he is a offspring from my moms first marriage and there is just not a lot we have in common except the same mom. He is not a believer and shows that in his life with a lot of wrong doing in general. There are many in my large family that are not bevievers.
I had had been praying that I would be given strength to call everyone to attention before the feeding frienzy started this Christmas day so I could pray. I called my Dad to confirm the gathering time and during our conversation he asked me if I would like to say a few words before Christmas dinner.I was happy how the Lords grace had answer and confirmed my prayer by this invitation.
Well the time came and I prayed to thank the Lord for sending Jesus our savior, I prayed for for the grace God had shown my brother inlaw when he had a heart attact, also for my nephew and his wife who have a baby on the way, and I ended with a prayer calling on Gods grace this coming year for everyone present. It was at this point my Dad speaks out, don't forget your brother! I knew that he was covered in my prayer even when I knew nothing at that momment of his cancer. I found out all the details during dinner and that is what brought me here.
Sorry to run on so long, please pray for him as well as his wife and two kids.

I am sorry to hear of your brothers cancer. Our lord has a plan for all of us . It!s not fun . My wife had it and is doing well at this time .I will pray for you .

Thank you all for being so faithful. My brother told me the other day that he didnot understand why he only had pain for a short time. He then stated, I can't explane it maybe it was God showing me that I had a problem. I told him that God's grace works like that and I knew that is what happened. I told him that my family prays for him all the time.
His treatment is going well so far.
