A man had 2 sons
A certain man had two sons. Ones name was Rob. One day Rob went to his Father and said "give me my share of the inheritance." When his Father did so Rob took off and went to a foreign country and squandered his inheritance on wild living and had to hire himself out to a man of that country. The Job he got was really bad and didn't pay enough to do anything sometimes not even enough for food. So he said to himself " even my Fathers servants are better off than I am now. I will go back to my Father and be a servant in His house."
When I was still a long way off my Father came running out to meet me. He threw a huge feast and rejoiced saying , "my son who once was lost is now found."

Re: A man had 2 sons
God is faithfull Rob, thanks for sharing. I was 22 when I came back home. I'm 35 now and have been blessed with a great wife and 3 kids. I have dealt with adversity over that time but God has always been there and always will be. DJB

Re: A man had 2 sons
Catch and eat.. Looking in the mirroe is very important. There isn't a person on the planet to whom I am superior. Sin is sin and it all pays the same. And according to Paul, if you have broken one law you have broken them all. No room for pride in my life. I have nothing to be proud of but have everything to be thankful for.
It's easy to yell at someone when they cut you off driving but how many times have we done the same thing? None of us deserve a thing. Everything we have is bt grace.

Re: A man had 2 sons
Good deal Rob. I'll be praying for you that your walk will strengthen.
Did the same thing a few years back. Got away from God because I blamed everyone in the church. Interesting How God can hold the mirror up in your face to show you who really is at fault. Nothing worse than bitterness I was living in. Asked to rededicate my life and he has been rebuilding it ever since. Taking time and I'm "still Under Construction".
Thanks for sharing.

Re: A man had 2 sons
Rob Allen!!! Way Too Cool!!! Your testimony reveals God's unconditional love. Even when we are unfaithful....HE REMAINS FAITHFUL! You can not out sin God's loving grace and love. Christmas IS the story of Grace and Unconditional love. The world promises gold and delivers coal. God's promises are true & never ending. Welcome back, all heaven rejoices and all the family rejoices as well. Merry Christmas.

Re: A man had 2 sons
Rob, I'm still gonna yell at 'em if they cut me off just that the window will be up and my hands gripping the wheel tightly to avoid unsightly gestures and language to go with it. My usual is "you morron!!!! what an idiot". Then I feel better, shake my head and move on with life.
Glad to hear you have recommitted your life and will be praying for ya. Really appreciate you sharing because truthfully it is refreshing to hear and brightens mine, if not everyones days.
