The last Hideout ministries "Inside Out" tour event is tonight in Hillsboro and the headliner band was flying out of Pittsburg PA last night. If you have heard on the news the bad storm that was zeroing in on the eastern seaboard this band (Apologetix) was right in the middle of it. We received a call in the late afternoon yesterday saying they might be snowed in and possibly might not get here. "Uh Oh" we have people driving from all over the state for this event and what do we do! I called our board of directors and advised them of this and asked to put out a prayer to as many people as possible. We would then formulate a plan on what to do in case they could not fly in.

I was on the phone all night with the guys in Pittsburg, we talked at 10pm, 1am, 3am, 5am and when this call came in they had been on the plane at the airport for an hour and the plane turned back to the terminal because the aviation computer network went down! "Oh No" not another challenge. Sent another prayer request out.

Received a call at 9am and they were able to fly out of Pittsburg and were in Chicago....whoo hooo!! The waiting game was over.

In our view this shows the power of prayer, we had many, many people praying for this as we will be touching several hundred people tonight and everything turned out so we can glorify God!

God is Good!

ORS, When God is in control it all works out :grin: and it did in a big way!

There were around 400 people at the event and there was between 11-15 decisions for Christ [img]graemlins/applause.gif[/img]

He sure is!!! I cannot begin to tell you how much the Lord has blessed us since the loss of everything. He is faithful who promised. Do you know the words of the song "My life is in Your Hands"? The Lord has really used this song in our lives since the fire. Here they are:
