Default WA Buck Hunters

Looking for some info on hunting the Chelan area. Specifically the upper Entiat and Slide Ridge. I've made one scouting trip last week but didn't see a lot of deer. We glassed some of the large canyons and saw only a handful of does. Where do the deer normally hang out in this area. I was at elevations between 4000 and 5500 feet and it looked real good. I realize a lot of the deer are migratory but I've been told that there are still good bucks that don't migrate all the way back into the wilderness areas. Any info would be appreciated.

The best advice I can give you is to look over maps and find little canyons and draws that you can't see from the road. Then hike into them and glass. You'll see way more deer.

Good luck
