Re: Job Interview
I'll sure pray...close to home is good! If they know how to recognize a good thing when they see it, they'll hire you!

Re: Job Interview
Lee, I'm with you in thought, spirit and prayer for a good interview with a successful result.
My interview went well, but I don't know what my competition is like.

Re: Job Interview
Keta - finally got an email error back (failed to deliver after 4 hrs). Basically wanted to know if you can make the Sturg. Challenge on the 10th with Team "D-Oh".

Re: Job Interview
Miss B,
Butcher comes the 8th. I'll call them and see if they can do a quick turnaround so I can bring a butchered lamb to deliver. I'll email you on this ASAP. I could do the kill but they are my pets and I don't like to see them kiled :depressed:

Re: Job Interview
Don't hurry the butcher on my account. No baby sheeps on our table! Just bring yourself and good weather (well a little luck might be nice too), I'll be happy!
Oh- but if you (or a neighbor)have an extra pig laying around a pork chop or two would be fine!
Oh- was that a yes for you?

Re: Job Interview

So.... you bring a lamb you better be real hungry!

Re: Job Interview
Pete,
D'oh!!!
All of my friends,
Well, I was the first place looser on this job but the county is VERY interested in me. They said that if something comes up I would be at the top of the list.
Your prayers must have hit my wife. Yesterday she was offered a full time job teaching, beginning in January! Low pay but the satisfaction index is very high and in 90 days we will have medical insurance

Re: Job Interview
Keta,
That is really great news!! Praise God! Isn't it fantastic how He pours out blessings as we put our faith and trust in Him. Always just in time, too.
I think I remember that you applied for a county position, is that true? I am a 25+ years county employee and know that if they say they like you, your chances are great. How long is the list good for?? Praying for an opening now.
