yesterday really frustrated me becuase i fished for 4 hours with nothing then i had one hour that fish were biting. i hooked and fought eight fish. i had one firly hooked in the top beak. i was going to take the lead in the challenge but when he was 2 feet from the bank he thrashed and my fly came out. this fish was very large and took me on a major screaming run upstream about 100-150 yards and then back at me jumping furing the fight as well. after i lost that fish o was heart broken. before that fish i hooked a monster on a freight train. that fish would have been my coho to date. i fought it for a while. it moved so gracly didnt even care i hooked it and finally snapped my 12 pound leader off. i do believe that fish had and extra fin.the other fish i caught were on a popcicle because i lost my only freight train. one of the fish i must have [celery sticks!] off a lot becuase i wtched him shoot at it so fist from about 15 feet away and neary come out of the water out of the water after it, it was amazing. but after a short run i lost him.

Nice report. It's good to know there are some biters around.

How was the crowd?

I've thought about heading over there recently, but the crowds put me off. So I usually head out to my less crowded steelhead runs. Might have to hit the creek after some rain though. Never caught a Silver on a fly before.. dom
