Transportation from PDX to Seahawks
My wife picked up a couple tickets for me for a Seahawks-Niners game later in the season. I'm wondering if there is a travel package avaiable from Portland. Like airplane to shuttle, bus, train, etc. that's fairly reasonable. Trying to avoid having to drive and park and all that fun stuff.
Thanks

Go By Train!
With all the flight security and such, the train would take about the same amount of time without nearly as much hassle. You can walk from the train station to the stadium.

Re: Transportation from PDX to Seahawks
The train station is basically in the parking lot of the stadium. The only problem I could see is the train not being on schedule. I took a trip South this year on the train and we got to our destination 12 hours late. I think if I was going by train I would book a room down town and go the day before and enjoy DT Seattle or just go way early. They have lost my confidence in being on time.

Beware of the train!
Last time I took the train from Portland to Seattle we left Portland at 7:30 am and didn't get to Seattle until 1:30 pm. The train stopped at every town along the way, it seemed like every time that the thing got up to speed they would just slow it right back down to pull into towns like Kalama and Castle Rock.

Hello
If it were me I would drive and pay the gas and parking.

Re: Transportation from PDX to Seahawks
I'm a season ticket holder and the best way I have found is to drive up to Federal way and take the shuttle from there. Shuttle is like $6 ea round trip. Drops you off across the street from the stadium in plenty of time to get something to eat, and get to you seats. There is also a train shuttle that runs between Tacoma and the stadium. It was quite a bit more expensive and stops quite a bit. I prefer the Federal way shuttle. Also, check out the Seahawks website they have all the shuttle info.
Have fun

Re: Transportation from PDX to Seahawks
I have a couple different friends who have season tickets and I've heard that the train can become a "party train" on the way up because of the drinking.
If you drive up and get there a couple of hours early, you can find parking on certain streets. All the times I've gone throughout the years, we've never paid to park. The walk is maybe 5-10 minutes.

I have never paid to park either. But then I am an early bird. Also went with my son one time and we did park in the parking structure and it was easy and not to expensive.
