driver at work killed

please pray for the family of Steve Maine. He leaves behind a wife and 3 kids. he was killed in a semi-truck accident in grants pass today. i don't know all of the details and i am not sure if he had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ . i do know that many people at work are shook up about it. do you know for sure if you died today that you would go to Heaven? Definitely something to consider and to settle with God before you pass away . young guy only abot 36 or 38 thanks Hankstr :depressed:

I don't know the ramifications of this tradegy, but God does and I pray for all those affected that they would allow His will to be done.

I have just prayed for the family. This hits home, as I used to work at Curly's for 13 years before my present job. Please pray.

I agree with you hankstr, folks need to settle their future home in heaven, while here on earth. After we are gone, it's too late.

John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have Everlasting life!

Romans 10:13 says, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.

The Bible way to heaven is simple, simply believe and call upon the name of the Lord!

If you are not sure about your home in heaven, why not pray and ask God right now to save you! You can pray in your words, but here is a sample prayer:

"Dear Lord, I know I am a sinner. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins: past, present, and future. I believe you died on the cross for me. I call upon you to save me, and take me to heaven when I die. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus Name, Amen"

Of course, calling upon the Lord can be any words. But the important thing according to the Bible is believing while you are still alive.

I John 5:13 says, These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

The Bible says you can KNOW. Now that's 100% assurance.

Are you 100%, 50%, 25%, or 0% sure you are on your way to heaven? Why not settle it, and be 100% sure right now. Pray right now the Bible way. See the sample prayer above for assistance, and read the Bible verses to see the Bible way.

Just an update on the coworker who was killed friday. he was 38 years old and had 4 children and a wife that he left behind. His funeral will be this saturday in keizer. thank you to all who have prayed for this family. Hankstr [img]graemlins/hearton.gif[/img]

I wish we could help people like this. I mean, ifish is such a big group. We could really put together something that could help people that have crisis in their lives.

hi everyone !! here's an update on this story. Today I attended the funeral for Steven Maine. What a blessing. Steve was a great father and husband. I do know that Steve had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.. I was able to meet his relatives who all have professed salvation through Jesus Christ. It was a celebration of a life lived for his Lord and Saviour. :grin: . Do you know for sure if you were to pass from this life that you would spend eternity in Heaven ? Please look at the post on this topic submitted by SKP if you have any questions about your salvation , it will fully explain how you too can have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Please pray for Steve's wife and kids Candace(wife) and the kids names are as follows:Tiffany,Keith,Jessica,&Ashley . Thank you to those who have already prayed for this family.
