Default Gnat Creek yesterday

Fished yesterday going 1 for 1. Caught a real small chrome bright buck, so small in fact that he was exactly 20in. it looked. I didn't have a tape measure with me and I thought I remembered the regs saying 20in. or larger was considered a Steelhead and I didn't know what the regs said about "Rainbow Trout" so I decided not to chance it and let him go. The adipose clip was not totally clean either, but I probably would have kept him if it were only for that.

So I fish on a little longer and reach the bridge at the campground and lo an behold I run into OSP. Was nice to see them there checking on things, but I was glad I didn't chance it. Devine intervention?

Water was still a bit high, but color was pretty good. I'd imagine today it's perfect.

Went over to Big Creek afterwards and it was still a tad high and colored. A few guys were giving it a go though.
