Default Feeling kind Low and need a lift.

Hello all,
I really need a lift. It's kind of a dumb problem but it kinda hit me in the Gutt!!
It is petty but it still hurts so bear with me.
The long and the short of it is I had and it wasn't enough now I have not...I recentley got the idea I wasn't happy with my DB that let me tell you took me years to aquire. Many prayers and sacrifice went into getting it. But 2 yrs later of coarse my human nature kick in and it was not good enough for me and I decided I would go for the big boat. I sold my boat and went to buy the Big one and the deal I had set up fell through. No this isn't the end of the world and maybe this isn't the place for me to write about it. But it hurts and I sit at my computer and realize what I lost and have no way of knowing when I will get a new. I ask please say a prayer for me and my greed for this is a lesson I guess the lord needed me to learn. (the hard way)
Thanks for your support.
1st time to this Chapel side of Ifish.
Fire :depressed:

FIREINTHEHOLE:
I feel your pain, Ive been wanting to upgrade my boat also, keep running into problems. so I decided to wait on the lord,&let him do the work.
Patience seems to be the key...something I dont have much of.
I will pray for you.
good luck.

It's good that you've got a finger on what's bugging you. Bigger, better, best gets me down sometimes too. I call it consumer blues. I've got a wood drifter. I've had it two years. It was built in 68. I have a hard time walking and fishing from the bank these days. My legs are failing fast. Sure, they keep me upright and I even play hardball (giving that up after 12 years in the league) in a league for guys over 30 but I can tell that they become fatigued really fast and subject to all sorts of injurys. The boat has been my ace in the hole. Lately I've started to reject the idea of the boat needing it's anual up keep and have started to toss around the idea of going to a metal boat. But wait.....Bigger, better, best, consumer blues. For me it always helps when a friend tells me to relax and be patient. Thanks for sharing fireinthehole. I need to just let some things slide and not be forcing issues that are really in no need of so much concern. I hope you too can relax and move easy. My first time here in the Chapel too.
