Our Friend Brad's Surgery
Good Ol' Ugly Green,
Or as my daughter calls him, "Brad the Shad" is going in for his back surgery tomorrow.
I pray that the Lord will watch over and heal him and guide the doctors hands to mend his body. That the Lord will comfort his family and give them the peace that He is in control.
Brad is a good family man, good friend, good Christian, a pretty OK fisherman and I'm sure all will be well.
Please remember him in your prayers.
Thanks
Bruce

Re: Our Friend Brad's Surgery
Not to make light of his very serious situation, but rather considering the ardent fisherman he is and his love for fishing(particularly the Eagle Creek coho's-which should be picking up shortly). I would also ask that as you pray on behalf of his physical well being, that you remember his mental well being- this guy needs to have the right attitude towards recovery and not push himself or get down because he is not out there.

Re: Our Friend Brad's Surgery
Well,
Like the true fisherman that he is, Brad just called me, to tell me there was some skeins of coho eggs in his fridge, and would I go by and cure them.
He was just about to get the big shot of drugs and remembered the eggs.
Glad to see his priorities are strait.

Re: Our Friend Brad's Surgery
Hope he's doing okay. Lots of meds to get him through the first few hours will help.

I hear he's under the knife about now, keep him and his family in your prayers.

Re: Our Friend Brad's Surgery
Pray for him? This may be my only chance to actually catch a fish! I'm going fishing while he's laid up. Otherwise they're all in his fishlocker.
Just kidding. We're all wanting this to go perfectly and put him back in shape and out of pain.
Thanks, GRB and David, for keeping us informed. We'll watch for your posts on his progress.

Re: Our Friend Brad's Surgery
Spoke to Brad this morning. He's doing fine. Surgery went as planned. PTL. Thanks for your prayers and concerns.
Healing time now.
