What a combo! King Crab & High School Football

Tonight Gresham High School not only hosted the Hood River Eagles, and beat them 42-28, and not only had KGW Ch8's helicopter pop in for a visit...
but...
so did Rick & his wife of the crabbing vessel Maverick featured in the Discovery Channel's show "Deadliest Catch". They signed autographs, and sold crab, and shmoozed with the camera crews.
Talk about a crowd grabber, made the Dungeness crab & pots look kinda small. But, I'll stick with Yaquina Bay, and then a run to Rogue Brewery for some "liquid motivation" .
Anyways, the daughter was impressed, and I'm the proud owner of 2lbs of crab to join a steak tomorrow!!

I went to the Barlow/Sandy game tonight. There were celebs there too. No crab, but the gormet franks were to die for. And the Bruins handed the Pioneers their second defeat of the year - 27-20.

Sounds lik you had a great time. So, which bench are you going to sit behind during the Gresham/Barlow game? :grin:
