Default Opening Morning B\'fast

My favorite:
Coffee;
Canadian Bacon fried;
Orowheat whole wheat muffins
butter and fry both sides;
Egg ring w/ 1-2 eggs fried;

Quick and progressive in one pan, take in the coffee while cooking. All else in prep is a night before thing. Head out on foot in the dark with headlamp and poss. a Mt bike to coast down an' out later.

What's your favorite breakfast;;opening morning?

I'll be cooking for 7 guys on opening morning, so it will be 4 bags of Jimmy Dean Skillet, with a dozen eggs added, toast and V8 :smile:

Can't eat much and don't want to stink so I keep it simple..
Bananas sliced over peanut butter toast. Throw a bar in the backpack and a ton of water...

I'm with Rauly.

It's either muffins & coffee/juice or donuts and coffee/juice...then load the pack and off with the boom stick

I know I'm just a ducker, but last year we did breakfast in the blind for the first time on opening morning. Between the two of us, we packed a single burner stove, a skillet, the food, and a coffee pot (perk type).

I had mixed up some eggs, hash browns, and ground sausage (cooked before mixing) into a Tupperware bowl. Once out in the field, the whole bowl got dumped into the skillet, cooked up, and dished out onto tortillas.

Splash on some green tabasco and throw back some hot apple cider... great start to a great day.

Now I'm hungry!
