Default Brake Team, anyone actually use them?

Not that I need brakes right now, but has anyone tried that brake repair place called BrakeTeam?

They seem to offer a pretty good deal, maybe too good, I don't know. On one of the more popular social web sites (okay, Craigslist), they get bashed pretty hard, but then again, most things do over there.

Just wondering

I don't know anything about them, but if they're a franchise or chain i.e. Precision Tune, Meineke, AAMCO etc, I'd avoid them like the plague. But that's just me.

I used the one in Oregon City for new front brakes on my Cadillac STS. I have no complaints at all. They were very professional and up front about their advertised price and service.
It came down to...upgrade the pads for a higher price and they were up front about it. The low priced pads are not the best as could be expected.
I upgraded to top of the line pads and had new rotors installed. I have about 20,000 miles on them and have had no problems. The $99 price is a leader to get you in.
Of course they're going to try to upsell you. What would you do?
