Anyone having success on the sandy because...

I haven't. Fished Saturday and Sunday near oxbow. Water looked great, but for me the bite was off. Still nice to get out, crisp air beautiful scenery, but no fish!! Not looking for locations, just wondering how others did anywhere on the river!!

The Sandy is just a little cold right now. I have always had better luck on the Sandy when the water temp. gets above 40.

When the river blows from all the snow melt, and drops back into shape, I'm going to hit the Sandy pretty hard...expecting good things...

But there are a few fish being taken above Oxbow....
