I did not get to see the game and havent checked the box scores yet But I know it was a 9-0 shut out, that means we got our butts kicked, unless the refs made a few bad calls, Oh by the way, we just lost it happens sometimes with or without bad calls

i know hawk fans have more class than to joust steelers fans about a embarrasing monday night showing. big ben was rusty and throwing nerf balls for all. we will see what the hawks are made of this sunday, there first test of the year against the giants and eli.

Ben needs some tune-up time. He had a little rust around the edges.

The Jags defense looks pretty strong too.

The Jags are gonna be tuff this year. Seahawks got a tuff one ahead but they got it in em' Deion will be playing, lets line up 4 wide and light it up!

The game was great if you like defense. There were no game affecting calls by the officials. Just a lot of good defensive plays by both teams. Ben was off other than a few plays early, but the jags defense is really really good.

Im amazed he was out there. Missing traing camp due to kissing a windsheild with no helmet and then backing that up with an apendix opperation a few weeks ago. Then the coach admitting he had a bit of a cold befor the game??? I thought batch look awsome last week. A little offence could have won that game and let roth rest a little more.

I do love to watch cower make those funney faces and see him unleash on his players and of course see them lose.

bettis would have soften up that line a little too and allowed a little more running and passing opptions last year. I think losing his play is more of a factor than people think esspecialy when facing a heavy defenceive line. He may not have been a big gainer in his twilight years but he certinly could still wear guys out in the middle.

pretty much says it all, a litttle offense could have won the game, but thats why the jags are one of the best D's in the league.
the jags beat them last year also and i'd say that the steelers went on to have a pretty good year :tongue:
I'd much rather see them get these losses out of the way now, than late in the season :grin:
