Default Step up on boat save knees

My son coop and I had a discusion about our Mojet 20' boat as to how hard it is to get out in the water when docks are busy. we decided to put a step on the front of the trailer so it would be easier to climb up. I am a little
older so I just love it. We have enough material
left to build three more, if anyone is interested.
We made an 8 X 8" step welded to the winch tube.
Thought I would pass this info along.

Hock your house for a boat and save $90K I did!!

I've thought about doing this to my trailer for a while now. Is the material you're using galvanized? If so, I'd be interested!

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">You can use galvinzed if you want. We used 8" channel iron covered with skate board grip tape.
You can't see the iron from the tape, so looks good. Hard to find galvanized channel.

You mean like this? I out this on my E-Z Loader when the plastic cap wouldn't stay on, and wanted an easier and safer way to get to the tongue of the trailer from the boat... The black stuff on top is a non slip 3M self adhesive, like they use on stair treads.

Right on Leroy,

Yes, very similar except we used channel so there would be a lip over the side in case we slip.
Our mo-Jet also has the Boston whaler rail around the front, so it is extremly high.
By the way has anyone been on the Clack this weekend we are going Mon, just because I have to fish. I did hear there was a 26lb Springer
cuught on the river afew days ago.

I'm going to do something like a step-up.
I'm going a step(pun)further by having a walkway put around the trailer like they have done for these sprint boats. I think it is smart for a fella like me who launchs alone often.
If you can will you show us a photo of your step?

Thanks
