Slipped and slid on over there this morning. It was a sheet of ice over Salt Creek hill  .
I was the only rig there till about 8 am. Grabbed my stuff and RAN down to the water, not a soul in sight. Threw my gear on the ground and RAN back to the Suburban to check the regs. Man...I thought I missed something, never seen an empty lot at the hachery before!
Walked back to my stuff and saw 2 nice fish about 4 feet off shore. Fish alone for about an hour and had 2 big takedowns but couldn't score :depressed: .
Loaded up and headed for Ron's for some sand shrimp and stopped up at the corners. Walked across the road only to see a fish next to shore there also  .
Baited up and had him on for a short time and he rolled out into the rapids never to be seen again :depressed: .
The water was high and dirty (about 12-14" vis.) but fishable. The fish were just off the bite

but all over the place.
Man, wish I had tomarrow or tuesday off!
