UPDATE ON DAMON

It's been a long couple of days and this will continue to be for the long haul. Talked with Damon's brother inlaw last night. Things are still very touch and go, today should be the 72 hours after his last big surgery and I know that the doctors are hopeing that vitals will now level off. I think this should be the focus of the our prayers today not to mention countined strength for his family.
I want to share with you all what was not aired on the news. Tami, Damon's wife wanted people to know that it is only through the power of the Lord Jesus Christ and His grace that they are getting through this, and who the person of Damon Coates really is.
Also remember to pray for our law inforcement guys and gals that put there life on the line every day.

Thanks Rod for the report. Found out that a college friend and client was there when it happened. Officer Chris Cheek is now on leave and dealing with this issue. Chris is a great guy and a good Christian brother.

We will continue to pray that Damon makes a full recovery and that God will bless he and his family.

Thanks for sharing the update on Damon. We are all continuing to pray for his speedy recovery and for strength for the family. Tammy really showed the grace of God when she forgave the young man that nearly took the life of her husband. We who know Damon well, know that he would forgive Nick as well. I sure that he would be praying that God would also work in the life of this very troubled young man. Praise be to God for what He is doing in Damon's life.....and what He will continue to do.

Rod - thanks for the report. We'll continue to pray for him and all those involved. There is a good editorial in the Oregonian today on the family's response to forgiveness. A godd reminder for us all regarding forgiving others.

Rod,

Every one is praying for Damon and his family in both the Umpqua and Rogue Valleys. Many of my contacts down here are praying everyday. Please give us more info when you get updated.
