Default Who's hunting the coast range due to fires?

I'm starting to wonder if there will be additional pressure in the coast range for the bow opener due to the fires on the east side?

Anyone changing plans?

I know where you are Sooslaw The maps are really expensive though!!! LOL

I'll be cameraman and call man Saturday in the Cascades. My buddy has located a number of Roosies we're going to run around. Hopefully we'll come back with some good footage and some meat too!

Sooslaw, good luck! I hope to see some pictures in my inbox Sat. night or Sunday morning okay???? And if you get him, give me a holler and I'll come to town Monday and score him.

dont think the 7x6 will score real well but a stud nonethe less, the bigger 5 will score nice for a 5, possibly 265-270". The 6x5 has a short 2nd tine on one side and not super long 3's so he wont either. The 5 has very long tines all around, nicest of the bunch, but I am not after score!

I vote the 7x6... he has a lot of character and you said it; it's not about the score. It's getting a nice animal. No matter what animal you take, you will be very proud of it with all the scouting and pictures you've gathered of them over the last couple of months!
