Default Look at Tailchaser and Comapny's new Ride!!!!!

Well, after my dad scoured the market for years it seemed like and trying to sell our boat, it all happened in less than a week for both to settle out. Take a look at our new diggs!!

[image][/image]

[image][/image]

[image][/image]

[image][/image]

[image][/image]

It's 27' with twin 150 yami's on the back. Dual fresh/saltwater washdown pumps, 234 gallon gas tank, and made with 1/4" Aluminum throughout the boat. Throw on a rear transom door for those monster tuna and full electronics and we're ready to rock from day one. Oh yeah, it's a 2005 model and has 120 hours on it. I can't wait to see the first fish hit the deck. Interestingly enough, this is a Woolridge boat, but not the local Woolridge, it's the parent company I believe out of Louisiana who makes these. Extremely impressive boat and the flare to the bow is exactly like a Grady White's. The mold was taken from thier specifications. Anyhow, watch out tuna, we're on the way!!!!

The beam is 9'6" and I almost forgot. It has dual "insulated" fish holds in the floor that could hold up to 25 tuna a piece!

Thanks for the reply's but the maiden voyage supposedly is going to be after salmon sometime this weekend. Unfortunately, I have a date wtih some elk, so the old man is going to draw first blood I think on her. Now if it was a tuna trip, I might have reconsidered. By the looks of the forecast, that might be next week if all goes as planned on the first trip. It's definitely made to kill fish, the only things left on the adjenda is a liferaft mounted on top and spotlights. By next spring it will be fully decked out. Anyhow, pics with fish are soon to follow.

Also being a bow hunter, isnt it the pits that bow season has to fall right during the heart of tuna season! :whazzup:Tough chose to have to make esspecially with that awesome new ride. Last year I bought a new 26' Striper and had to bag bow hunting but Im ready to get back to it now (unless its 3' at 10 seconds)

That's their Japanies model. They drive on the left hand side of the ocean.

Very cool fishing platform.

Please, please, please don't ever take me for a ride.

Seriously, I'm thinking that would be a best-seller up here in the northwest. Wonder why they don't build 'em locally? (I'm glad they don't )

I need to get your Dads insurance agents name....you see I was traveling up 101 in Coosbay yesterday and saw her parked in the parking lot of the Red Lion at about 6 Am. My eyes locked on her like a heat seeking missle. Only problem is that I was driving 45 mph so it snapped my neck and I think I have whip lash.....or is that back lash......or green with envy.....what ever it is I am sure his insurance will cover my symptoms....if he wants to settle out of court I will take the boat minus the bill in settlement. Extremly nice boat, I have the pictures on my digital camera to prove it as I turned around and snapped a couple. Enjoy....the pictures dont do the boat justice it has great lines, a get er done swell busting bow and an awesome pilot house.

No name as of yet, we're still working on that one. Pops is at an OPAC meeting for a few days, so we'll cover that when he gets back. First sea trial may be this weekend or possibly monday. You'll need to come on down Mr. Crotts and bring the wifee too. We owe you a ride anyhow!! If I can fulfill my date with an elk saturday morning I can chase down a tuna this week!!! Oh yeah, they're only 15 miles out! But don't tell anyone up north ok. By the way, the manufacturer is Woolridge PSI. My dad knows the name of a distributer also, do a search for Encounter boats and it should show up.
