Default Sage Hens, Buddies, Moose & skeeters

So I went to the Idaho Dept of fish and Game site and ordered my Licenses.

Got a 3 day fishing pass and a season Bird tag (used to be about $75) 2 years ago, now it is over double of that.

I wonder how one sets a price on a pass to God's country?

It must be based upon total user #'s to the area, and have a logarhythim/sp based upon some secret formula. Must be something akin to making Bush's world famous baked beans recipie.

Maybe they have some Golden retriever in charge of the whole process in Idaho, Just like they do for the Bush's baked beans Marketing Mainstay.

I have looked forward to this trip since the ending of the last trip I took out there (last year-same time)

W Slope Cutthroats, Sage hens, and Rabbits!!!

Glorious country in the best time of the year, top that off with the best folks in the world, dang! that makes for a great trip.

Here is Brother Ben with His Birds:

Oh yeah, there are 1/2 dozen good sandwich shops between here and there for old Alex and a sub , or at least the half he earned.

Here is a photo of me and my son Alex See above

And again with 2 brace of Hens:

There are few things better than a couple of smiling Hounds. Lots of miles and sage, lots of busted coyotes, Badgers and Bunnies.

A few Ducks,Some Angus and Herford in a side pasture, will bring the animal to a pinch point,
Lots of time and practice will cool them down around non game critters.

some geese, and a rare Cougar/Porkeypine will get you a well tempered Gamehound.

And no one could say that these hounds do not have a smile

It is high season to dig in and get a big handful of the natural world... We live in the greatest country on the planet.

We have access to Flyrods, guns, streams, music, literature, and can even run our own businesses here!

We can Worship Bhuddah, Allah, Tom Arnold, Tiger woods, or even GOD!

We are a truley free people.

Some call us "dogs"

But I'd be a dog any day.

Yeah, you got me... I recycled that photo. I aim to have a new one for this season... but the season still has to get here!

I am counting down the days.

Did you buy the hunting license or the small game permit? The small game is $85, and the only difference is that you can't hunt pheasants the first 5 days of the season. You might want to check that.

Pretty sure I know where you are hunting sage hens, look for a couple of guys and a little girl following a couple of peake's this year.

James in Idaho, I owe you a Slice of Pizza or a cold beverage. I just called the Dept of Fish and Game, I did buy the wrong license. They said if i mail back the license and put in a letter with an explanation as to what happened, they'd fix it) Saved me over $90!!!

Thanks Man
