I walked into Joe's this morning to buy my 40 corkies for $2. Well my curado has been having a trigger problems. I guess from pushing it so many times it was starting to rub and sticking real bad. It was very hard to press down to cast. So I asked the clerk about how to fix it. He said "bring it to me and I will fix it". The reel was out in the car so I ran out and got it. I handed the reel to him and and he started relining a new curado with my old line. I told him that I didn't have a receipt nor did I buy it at a G.I.Joes (Fisherman's). I even told him that it was more then a year old, for the warranty. Never the less he told me not to worry about it. I guess the guy had seen me in there so much buying fishing stuff he wanted to keep me happy. Well I am happy and I think I am going to buy my new bobber and jig outfit from G.I.joes instead of anywhere else!!!! Great costumer support
Yeah, excellent customer service at that store in particular. I needed backing on my 6500 the other day so that my tuff line wouldn't spin on the spool. I handed it to Damion (guy with the glasses)and he took off the tuff line and put fly backing on free of charge. He refilled my tuff back on and sent me packing. Excellent service and I'll definitely be back.
