I'm thinking about it, but am concerned about the forecast 20 knot winds in the afternoon. I'll decide after the 2:30 pm forecast update today.

Tinman,
Have you made a tuna run this summer? I'll be back down to Pacific City over Labor Day weekend. Until then I can only daydream of hitting the beach! Work sucks, but I know of no other way to pay bills.

Dave, I did one tuna run this year with edsr as my wingman. We went out of Tillamook because at the time I couldn't find a PC doryman to join me. We found tuna 30 miles out, and quit when the box was full (15 fish). There was a slow pick in the morning, a 2 hour lull, and then very fast fishing starting just before noon. The fish averaged around 20 pounds. Stay in touch, I hope we can fish together over labor day weekend.

Three Rocks: I want to go, but the forecast is for 10-15 knots, building to 20 in the afternoon, 4 foot swell. I sent you a PM...please call me so we can discuss and make a go/no-go decision.
