Wanted, Pic's of Brad's Wiggler's & Wobbler's
Thanks for your interest, but BS Fishtales would like to have and use some pic's I have seen of fish in the past caught on Brad's Wiggler's and Wobbler's.
I personally have lot's of fish pic's of fish caught on Wiggler's the last two years since I have been using them, but they mostly have been caught on one particular color.
A few other pic's like the one's that Bug_Flicker has posted in the past would be great.
For the most part pic's of Wobbler caught fish would fill the void.
These potential pic's will be used for their website and potential shows.
Email the pic's to bsfishtales@aol.com
Zipperlip's are welcome!
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Wanted, Pic's of Brad's Wiggler's & Wobbler's
Geesh, The way Brad takes other folks product ideas, you'd think He could just use their pictures , too!
Alvin- Brads Wobbler
Storm Wiggle Wart - Brads Wiggler
Loncosky's Simon - Brad's Mini Extreme
Come on baby...use a little innovation!

Re: Wanted, Pic's of Brad's Wiggler's & Wobbler's
Ouch...
I can think of few if any major manufacturers that that have gained and maintained success based only on their own creations.
Take a look at Luhr Jensen's listings: Les Davis, Eddie Pope, Weber, Tony Accetta, Florida Fishin Tackle, Les Salm, Glen L. Evens, Reef Fisher, Pete Rosko, Collins, Ozark Mountain, Sam Griffin, Mitt Run, and Jack Davis in their current catalog.
If a company has the right and ability to take or buy another company's product design, and through successful marketing and distribution techniques grows that into a larger business that makes these designs available to a wider market, is that a bad thing????

Re: Wanted, Pic's of Brad's Wiggler's & Wobbler's
Ya, but from what I know, Luhr Jensen purchases these brand names and rights, etc. From what I hear and see Brad just 'takes' the idea and starts to promote it as his own.
Kinda shameless pilferring in my opinion. But, maybe it's just my own issue...not really that big of a deal.

Re: Wanted, Pic's of Brad's Wiggler's & Wobbler's
The Storm rights and molds were not pilfered, from what I know. I can't speak to the others.
Storm is a very large company with the capacity to protect themselves and their products. In fact, the Pacific Northwest is such a small part of their market that it has been difficult to get them to produce the Salmon and Steelhead colors we demand. That is part of the reason Brad has been so succesful. They, like most plug manufacturers are Bass and other warm water species specific.
The PNW is really a very small part of the international tackle business.

Re: Wanted, Pic's of Brad's Wiggler's & Wobbler's
Hogtide, you should call Brad at Bobs sometime and stop in and talk to him about his gear.
He filled a void when storm quit making warts. In fact, Mr. Storm saw a display of Brads Wigglers and said that he felt like he was home. He started the wobbler business to offer other colors that Alvin didn't. He offers more colors than Simon does in his Mini extreme wobbler. He made a bunch of Xstream wobblers for Fishermans and then they backed out when they got here. So look for these at the Sportsmans show for a GREAT deal. Look at what he will come out with later this year, you just might like it. I just feel that Brad has stepped up to the plate to offer the NW Sportsman what they weren't continuing to get.
Dano, I don't have any pics on the digital of fish caught with Brads lures but I do have a lot of snapshots if you know of anyone with a good scanner.

Re: Wanted, Pic's of Brad's Wiggler's & Wobbler's
I am going to back steelheadslayer on this one. Brads offer something that few others offer, that is a lure dedicated to salmon and steelhead. Of course we have flatfish, kwikfish and others but Brads started with a focus on Salmon and Steelhead. They continue to come out with products that help us catch fish.
I hate when posts start with one agenda and then they end up with product bashing/supporting. Born to be Wild asked for pictures and nothing more.

Storm dropped the ball with all of us here in the great NW.
Can't blame a NW guy for picking it up and running with it

Re: Wanted, Pic's of Brad's Wiggler's & Wobbler's
DITTO what Irie said.
Those new Storm Warts are a joke... the original design is still the best for the PNW.
BTW Brad, I'm still working on catching the first Kenai king on an Alvin... ooops, Brad's Wobbler.

Re: Wanted, Pic's of Brad's Wiggler's & Wobbler's
THE REASON THAT BRAD SELLS SO MANY PLUGS IS BECAUSE THE PAINT COME OFF AFTER DIGGIN IN THE ROCKS.I HAVE A BOX FULL OF BRADS TO PAINT AFTER A HARD YEAR OF FISHIN.YES THEY DO GET FISH,BUT HE NEEDS TO WORK ON THE PAINT.I HAVE SPOKE TO BRAD ABOUT THE PROBLEM JUST AFTER HE STARTED SELLING THEM, AND HAVE NOT NOTICED A CHANGE.
