Default Boice Jet question ?

I was at the boat show in Eugene today and had it narrowed down to a NR or Boulton. On my way out I stopped by Boice Jet and was impressed. I have never had a jet and was wondering how this boat would do in the ocean? I know nothing about this boat and would love some imput. Thanks

Sawman.
If you have the bucks to buy a Boice Jet Boat, Go for it! They are by far the CAD DOE LACK of the river! IMHO. I'm sure it will handle just fine in the ocean too. Boice is best known for it's white water capibilities. Killer Hell's Canyon Boat. Don't have one, Never rode in one, But I have seen them in action and they the best looking lines for an inboard boat on the water. Let me know when you get it,I'd love to go for a spin...

Good Luck! and remember, BOAT stands for: Break Out Another Thousand!

Simply put, it's a jet boat. It's NOT designed for the ocean, and none of them are!!

Yes, it will take the chop well, better than most. His bottom design works wonders. The wide flare makes it run drier than anything else out there, like the flare Willie uses. But, if your main fishing is in the salt, try something else with a prop.

I love my boat, firmly believe it's the sweetest handling and riding jet on the water. Bill who runs the BoiceJet dealership up here in the PDX area is a class act, and has made the company jump forward in terms of service. E-mail me if you have questions.

TR,
Right again. Boice makes a nice boat but I wouldn't recomend a jet boat for the open ocean.
